inDo you have a question for one of our agents? Look no farther! Here is a list of our most commonly asked questions.
1) How do I buy land?
- When you have found the parcel you like you can buy it by right clicking on the ground and by selecting BUY from the menu you get. In the next screen you have to confirm that you have read the zoning and building rules mentioned in the covenant.
All our land at Surreal Estates is set to 49L$ or a manager can change it to 0L$ for you. After buying the land one of our agents will show you were the tiermeter/tierbox is located. You will pay that meter/box as long as you wish to have land with us.
2) Do I really own the land or is it just rented?
- You own the land you purchase. Surreal Estates retains ownership of the “estate” so we can manage it and provide you with services. You have full land rights and you have full control of your land, such as changing the name of the land, planting trees, banning people, deeding the group, changing media URLs and so on. When you rent land you have no land rights. You may not even be able to change the music on your land!
-You can sell your land anytime, to anyone for any price.
- The new owners must be willing to abide by any zoning rules that may be written in the covenant.

- Yes, it is possible to share prims between parcels if they are owned by the same avatar or owned by the same group and if both parcels are in the same sim. You can use them all or a part of the prims of parcel A on parcel B.
- Prim sharing is ONLY possible if the parcels are in the same sim!
- Group land has to be DEEDED to the group. When you use SET then the land remains in the name of the avatar who bought the land.
